Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner Role "> This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in an urgent care setting, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team. Team Dynamics: Our team consists of 5 nurse practitioners, LPNs, MAs, and X-ray technicians, working collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient care. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Call Schedule: No call is required for this position. Patient Distribution: 100% outpatient patients are seen in this role. Patient Volume: Up to 30-40 patients per day. Procedures Required: Lacerations, suturing, splinting, higher-level procedures, initial X-ray reads, and IV hydration. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Preferred previous experience in urgent care or emergency room settings or at least 2 years in primary care. Must be licensed in New Mexico or willing to obtain licensure before the hire date.
