Overview:

Provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychological, physical and general aspect of care: utilizes the nursing process in patient care; meets the communication and education needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Communicates in a professional, positive, and assertive manner congruent with Mercy Service Standards. Communicates with physicians and other team members about changes in patients' conditions and is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

The Mercy Pittsburg ED is a level III Trauma Center, Certified primary stroke facility and Level III geriatric accreditation

Qualifications: Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school Experience: Preferred experience in Critical Care setting License: Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association We Offer Great Benefits:
