Project Manager in Construction We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to guide projects from planning to completion, ensuring consistency with our department's strategy, commitments, and goals. This role involves managing the ownership, coordination, and control of specific projects throughout their life cycle. You will be responsible for progress on each project, including initial planning, scope development, contracting, construction, and closeout. Your attention to detail will ensure accurate financial reporting, job files, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Oversee project safety, obtain final acceptance for contractor-submitted safety plans, and comply with project safety plans, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards. Develop and close out a portfolio of projects, maintaining accurate financial records and job files. Collaborate with partners and operators to implement projects efficiently. Create bid strategies with procurement, including scope of work, unit costing items, bid alternates, and operational constraints required for contract preparation. Establish project timelines, plan tasks, and ensure schedule compliance to achieve desired completion dates. Foster open communication with clients, partners, and leadership regarding project status, schedule, financial, and guest impacts. Requirements & Qualifications 4+ years of experience in construction methods and materials. Experience interpreting design drawings and specifications. Knowledge of construction project management processes, purchasing/contract management, and development. Experience with construction finance (budgets, cash flows, etc.). Proficiency in project management information system (PMIS) software. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with renovations. Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or relevant construction experience. 2+ years of experience in architecture, engineering, construction management, or commercial facilities construction industry. Experience with vendor negotiations, estimating, and bidding processes.
