As a skilled healthcare professional, this role requires individuals to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various clinical settings. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, enabling them to effectively manage and coordinate patient care. A thorough understanding of the nursing process is essential, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. The ability to administer medications and treatments safely, while monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness of treatment prescribed, is critical. Accurate documentation of patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given is crucial for informed decision-making. Teaching patients, family members, and/or caregivers about their condition and treatment options is also a vital responsibility. Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty, preferred BLS certification required RN License in state of employment or compact Work Schedule: Varies Work Type: Full Time
