Transfer Center Nurse The primary function of this role is to facilitate patient transfers into a healthcare system by collaborating with relevant business partners and utilizing problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include: Providing exceptional customer service through phone and personal interactions. Maintaining high levels of professionalism and adhering to hospital policies and procedures. Anticipating and prioritizing critical transfer issues, escalating concerns when necessary. Collaborating with ED staff, House Supervisors, administrators, and physicians to ensure efficient transfers. Working closely with team members to utilize established protocols, policies, and resources. Maintaining timely knowledge of transfer requests and capacity. Key qualifications for the position include: Associate's Degree in Nursing. RN License in the state of employment or compact. BLS certification. This is a full-time role that requires excellent organizational and communication skills. A strong focus on delivering quality care and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders is essential.
