5x8 Days, shift times between 0700-1700 (various start times), every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule, 72 guaranteed hours per 2 weeks Highlights: Work at a recognized Magnet facility and Level II Trauma center, honored as the Best Hospital in Alaska Case management in a 407-bed acute care hospital with diverse patient populations including neonates through geriatrics Epic EMR system utilized across all departments Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, social services, and more 13-week assignment with flexibility to float within case manager services to meet facility needs Welcoming to first-time travelers with 1 year of experience Requirements: Active Alaska RN license (must be in hand for offer consideration) BLS certification required ACM (Accredited Case Manager) certification preferred Epic EMR experience required Acute care hospital experience required (behavioral health experience does not qualify) Minimum 1 year of nursing experience Microsoft Office/Teams experience preferred Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within a comparable specialty/setting in the last 3 years Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact through discharge planning and care coordination at Alaska's premier acute care facility.
