36 or 40 guaranteed hours per week (3x12 or 8/10 shifts); two weekends per month required Highlights: 332-bed short-term acute care teaching facility with a collaborative care environment Epic EMR system; strong Epic proficiency (level 3 or 4) required Float availability to three hospital locations within a 20-mile radius to meet system needs First-time travel nurses welcome; local candidates accepted at the same rate No on-call requirements; free parking provided White scrubs; smoke-free and nicotine-free facility Requirements: Active Florida RN license (pending licenses not accepted) Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required at time of application; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start date Epic charting experience at a proficiency level of 3 or 4 is mandatory Skills in arterial line management, dysrhythmia management, central line care, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, and trauma care including gunshot wounds and traumatic amputations Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine/cotinine test required; nicotine-free status strictly enforced COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical or religious exemptions only) Two professional references from direct supervisors or nurse managers All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application Completion of time-sensitive, non-billable training modules (6–15 hours) prior to start date Successful completion of EKG and pharmacy testing during orientation (two attempts maximum) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This is an excellent opportunity to join a teaching hospital system that values professional development and supports emergency care excellence across multiple facilities.
