12-hour shifts (Day/Night rotation or Nights only); floating required as needed Highlights: Specialized Oncology Pod within a high-acuity Emergency Department setting – one of the few dedicated oncology emergency care units in the country Patient ratio of 1:4 with exposure to all age groups (pediatrics through geriatrics) EPIC charting system in a 19-bed, 15-room specialized emergency unit Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more 14-week contract with potential for 7 consecutive days off at facility discretion 76 hours of orientation to ensure your success Requirements: Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission) Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required At least 1 year of travel nursing experience (required) EPIC charting system experience required Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring Oncology experience preferred but not required Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 2 professional references (at least 1 from a manager/director or formal leadership role) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This is a rare chance to work in a specialized Oncology Pod within a fast-paced Emergency Department, providing targeted urgent care to cancer patients with complex medical needs.
