1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio | Call coverage: 1 weekday evening and 1 weekend (24-hour shift) per month | 8-hour orientation | Daily census: 9 patients Highlights: Beachside acute care hospital with 266 staffed beds Multi-procedure unit specializing in GI procedures including EGD, ERCP, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and endoscopic ultrasound Epic charting system (experience required) Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams First-time travelers welcome with minimum 2 years of experience Flexible time-off policy with pre-approved requests available Requirements: Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission) Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience BLS certification required Epic charting experience required Experience with 2-3 patient ratios preferred Charge experience preferred Required skills: Scrub, recovery of conscious sedation, bronchoscopy, circulate, colonoscopy, EGD, administering and monitoring conscious sedation Required procedure experience: Bone marrow biopsy, cardioversion, cystoscopy, EGD with Bravo, ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, flexible sigmoidoscopy, loop recorder, reversal agents, and recovery LA fire card within the last 30 days required Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a coastal California community while advancing your skills in a fast-paced multi-procedure environment.
