36 guaranteed hours per week (3x12-hour shifts); float coverage to multiple nearby campuses as needed Highlights: High-volume birthing center with 200-300 deliveries monthly in a 332-bed teaching facility Comprehensive L&D experience including high-risk antepartum, triage, circulating for C-sections, and postpartum/nursery care Epic charting system; magnet-level short-term acute care environment Free parking and white scrub attire provided First-time travelers welcome; local candidates accepted at the same rate Float to three campuses within a 20-mile radius to support facility needs Requirements: Active Florida RN license or pending (must be finalized prior to start) Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate; Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) preferred Experience with fetal heart monitoring, high-risk delivery assistance, sterile vaginal exams, C-section recovery, and neonatal transition care Proficiency with IUPC placement and calibration, central line maintenance, and critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate, insulin, anticoagulation, and antihypertensives Nicotine-free status required; negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine within 12 months of start date Two direct supervisor or manager references from Labor & Delivery or Mother Baby units Successful completion of EKG and pharmacology assessments during orientation (two attempts maximum) Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a collaborative, mission-driven team at a respected teaching hospital where you'll care for mothers and newborns across the full spectrum of obstetric services.
