Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse Provide safe, compassionate care throughout all phases of labor and delivery Monitor maternal and fetal health, interpreting vital signs and responding to complications Administer medications and manage pain relief, including epidurals Support patients and their families during labor, delivery, and postnatal recovery Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthetists, pediatricians, and support staff Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Respond swiftly to obstetric emergencies Offer education on postnatal care, breastfeeding, and discharge instructions

Requirements of the Travel Nurse Active North Carolina or Compact RN license Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
