04/13/2026 Job Description: The RN in Labor & Delivery will provide care to patients in obstetrics, postpartum, antepartum, post-surgical GYN, and manage pregnancies with hypertension or diabetes. The unit has 15 LDRP beds and 400 births a year. Responsibilities: Titrate drips such as Pitocin, Mag, and Procardia. Work 12-hour shifts including every other weekend and some holidays if needed. Participate in a one-week classroom orientation followed by 2-3 shifts on the floor. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience. Required certifications: BLS, NRP. Pass a 90% or higher on the open-book exam during orientation. Adherence to facility policies such as radius rule and fingernail policy.
