8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours/week). On-call requirement approximately 1x/week (5:00 PM–7:00 AM), with potential weekend and holiday rotation based on staffing needs. Highlights:
Circulating nurse role in a dedicated gynecological surgical services unit 1:1 patient ratio with daily census of 5–12 cases across 3 operating rooms Robotic-assisted procedures using da Vinci system (training preferred) Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management 13-week contract with 16 hours of orientation provided Scrubs provided; may float to other surgical services areas as needed Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of OR experience required Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted) BLS certification required NC or Compact state RN license (must be active at start date) Epic charting experience preferred Strong circulating skills with gynecological OR experience Experience with procedures including hysterectomies (vaginal, abdominal, robotic, laparoscopic), laparoscopies, hysteroscopies, D&C, bladder slings, cystoscopies, and therapeutic abortions Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity:
