Weekend coverage only – 24-hour shifts Saturday and Sunday; includes weekday on-call (one shift per week, either 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am) and one 24-hour on-call shift every fifth weekend Highlights: Weekend-focused schedule provides excellent work-life balance during the week High-volume, 10-room surgical department averaging 20-25 cases daily Diverse case mix across all surgical specialties excluding open heart – Urology, Orthopedics, Vascular, General, Endoscopic/Laparoscopic, and Robotics Advanced technology platform including Xi DaVinci robotic systems and Epic charting Pediatric through geriatric patient population offering broad clinical exposure Scrub attire provided by the facility Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience; first-time travelers accepted BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Proficiency in scrub and aseptic technique across multiple surgical specialties Demonstrated experience with Urology, Orthopedic, Vascular, General, Endoscopic/Laparoscopic, and Robotic procedures Epic charting system experience required Georgia or Compact state license must be active at time of application Two supervisory references from Manager level or above Willingness to float within facility based on departmental needs Ability to work major holidays as scheduled per facility policy Why It's a Great Opportunity: This weekend-focused position is ideal for surgical technologists seeking a specialized schedule while maintaining advanced clinical skills in a high-acuity environment.
