36 hours per week (3x12 shifts) or 40 hours per week (8 or 10-hour shifts); float to multiple locations within 20-mile radius as needed Highlights: Progressive Care Unit in a 332-bed Short Term Acute Care teaching facility Epic charting system; strong Epic proficiency (level 3 or 4) required Cardiac drip management experience essential; telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation skills utilized daily Guaranteed hours with no block scheduling; flexibility to work across multiple campuses Comprehensive orientation with study materials provided; first-time travel nurses welcome Magnet-designated teaching environment with interdisciplinary support Requirements: Minimum 2 years Progressive Care Unit experience; ICU experience also required Current Florida RN license or pending license (must be active by start date) Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submission NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date Epic charting experience at proficiency level 3 or 4 mandatory Experience with cardiac drips, central line management, blood product administration, and telemetry monitoring COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only) Must pass 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine/cotinine test; tobacco and nicotine-free status mandatory EKG and pharmacology testing during orientation (2 attempts maximum) Two professional references from direct supervisor, manager, or director Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a respected teaching facility where your progressive care and critical thinking skills will make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
