36 guaranteed hours per week (3x12 shifts); float capability required across multiple campuses within a 20-mile radius Highlights: Progressive Care Unit position at a 332-bed short-term acute care teaching facility Epic charting system; strong Epic proficiency (level 3 or 4) required Cardiac-focused patient population requiring familiarity with cardiac drips (no titration) Comprehensive orientation with EKG and pharmacology competency testing Free parking and smoke-free work environment First-time travelers welcome; local candidates accepted Requirements: Active RN license (pending licenses accepted) Minimum 2 years PCU experience; ICU experience also required Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (must have at time of application) NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start date) Epic charting experience at proficiency level 3 or 4 Competency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, central and peripheral line care, blood product administration, and cardiac drip management Nicotine-free status; 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only) Two professional references from direct supervisors or nurse managers All requested time off must be submitted upfront with application Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to join a progressive teaching facility where you'll care for a cardiac-focused patient population while expanding your clinical skills across multiple campuses.
