Job Summary: The Clinical Manager of Women Services is responsible for overseeing the administration and clinical aspects of patient care. This includes ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective care to all patients.
Provides education to staff based on theoretical and clinical expertise
Keeps accurate records of staff competencies
Assists Director with policy review and revision
Ensures staffing according to matrix on a daily basis
Responsibilities: When delivering patient care, the Clinical Manager will:
Provide high-quality, safe, cost-effective total nursing care to all patients using the nursing process
Direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, infection control
Utilize evidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards and adhere to Florida State Nurse Practice Act
Review orders/test results and document care delivered accurately and timely in electronic health record
This position also involves overseeing administrative tasks such as charging duties and payroll, and assumes these duties in absence of Administrative Assistant.
The Clinical Manager works closely with Director to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements: Required skills and qualifications include:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in clinical leadership
Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, ability to work effectively in team environment
