Wound Care Specialist Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wound Care Clinician to play a vital role in the recovery process for patients with chronic, critically ill, or medically complex wounds. About the Position Develop and implement policies and procedures related to patient care needs involving various types of wounds. Provide direct patient care and assist staff nurses, also serving as a consultative service regarding wound care to clinical staff. Perform wound care functions under the supervision of a Wound Care Coordinator. Qualifications and Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program leading to licensure as an LPN/LVN or RN. Current state LPN/LVN or RN license. BCLS certification. Minimum three years of nursing experience with experience as an acute care nurse. Key Responsibilities: Assess patient wound needs and develop individualized care plans. Conduct regular wound assessments and monitor patient progress. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Requirements: Nursing degree from an accredited institution. Current state licensure as LPN/LVN or RN. BCLS certification.
