The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be empathetic and able to work effectively with patients of all ages. You will also have the ability to maintain accurate records and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality oral healthcare services to patients, including routine cleanings, examinations, and preventative care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as dentists and hygienists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to understand their needs and provide personalized care. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advances in oral healthcare. Requirements: Current dental hygienist license in Indiana. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation. CPR Certification. Preferred Qualifications: Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
