Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-SurgicalLocation:Tulsa, OKAgency:Cynet HealthPay:$1,633 per weekShift Information:Nights - 3 days x 12 hoursContract Duration:13 WeeksStart Date:4/6/2026About the PositionJob Title: Registered NurseProfession: NursingSpecialty: Medical SurgicalDuration: 13 weeksShift: NightHours per Shift: 12 Hours (18:30 - 07:00)Experience: Minimum of 1 yearLicense: Valid RN license requiredCertifications: BLS, NIHSS, CPI (pending CPI is acceptable)Must-Have: Previous charge experience requiredDescription:Cross posting of Job.1-year experience required.First-time travelers are welcome.Patient ratios are 1:6.Weekends are required.Floating may be required.Skills needed include Med/Surg and MS/Tele experience.Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is necessary.Telemetry experience on unit monitoring is required.Knowledge of IV insulin protocols, bowel obstruction management, and colostomy/ileostomy care is essential.Feeding tube care and management is part of the job responsibilities.Continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) experience is needed.Skills in pre/post hemodialysis management and renal failure care are required.Accessing and managing ports and blood product administration are necessary skills.Experience with central line blood draws, peripheral line care, and PICC line management is needed.Ability to start and maintain IVs, manage heparin, insulin, and PCA is required.Experience with CVA management, pre/post neurosurgery care, and ortho trauma is needed.Total joint replacement experience is required.Surgical drain and chest tube management skills are necessary.Knowledge of BiPAP/CPAP management and use of high flow nasal cannula is needed.Experience in non-invasive airway management and oral suctioning is essential.Oxygen administration and tank management are required.Pre/post thoracic surgery care and tracheostomy care management are necessary.Isolation precautions and PPE usage are essential skills.Wound care and management, including Wound Vac experience, are required.Ability to manage cardiac drips without titration and vasoactive drips without titration is necessary.Daily census on the unit is 28.Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.Staffing ratios for days, nights, and weekends are all 6 patients to 1 nurse.Units are supported by IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, and social services.Additional supports include rapid response teams, pharmacy, and phlebotomy.Patients may have diagnoses related to orthopedic pre and post-operative care, general medicine pre and post-operative care, and common Med/Surg procedures.Special procedures include total joint replacements and colorectal surgery.Special equipment such as ortho braces and CPMs may be used.Travelers will be expected to float to like units within their scope as needed based on facility needs.Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit.RequirementsRequired for OnboardingACLSBLSPharmacologySkills ChecklistSpecialty Exam
