36 guaranteed hours per week (3x12 shifts) or 40 hours (8/10 shifts). Weekend coverage required. Float coverage to multiple campus locations within a 20-mile radius as needed to support patient care. Highlights: 332-bed short-term acute care teaching facility with Magnet designation EPIC charting system in use across all units Experience with PCU/Cardiac Telemetry, vasoactive drips, and stroke patients essential Free parking and white scrubs provided Comprehensive orientation with study materials for EKG and pharmacology assessments Collaborative interdisciplinary team environment with rapid response and code team support Requirements: Active Florida RN license in good standing (no pending licenses accepted) Minimum 18 months telemetry or acute care experience required; 2 years preferred PCU or Cardiac Telemetry experience required and must be reflected in work history Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross) and ACLS certifications required at time of application NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date Proficiency with cardiac drip management, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine/cotinine test required; must be nicotine-free (smoke-free facility with no exceptions) COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only) All time-off requests must be submitted at time of application Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a well-established teaching facility where you'll care for a diverse patient population including cardiac, telemetry, and stroke patients.
