Experience: Minimum of 18 months of telemetry or acute care experience is required. 2 years of experience is preferred.

License: Current nursing license is required.

Certifications: BLS and ACLS are required at the time of application. NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to starting.

Must-Have: Experience with PCU or cardiac telemetry is required. Experience with vasoactive drips and stroke patients is required. Travelers must be nicotine-free.

Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry overflow. The nurse will care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring. Responsibilities include the management of cardiac drips, without titration. The nurse will float between multiple facilities within a 20-mile radius. Must be comfortable working with various patient cases that require telemetry support. The facility is a smoke-free environment. All candidates must be aware of time-sensitive modules that need to be prioritized after confirmation for the assignment. Negative drug screening for nicotine and substances is required. Travelers cannot have any license infractions. Modules are non-billable, and completion is mandatory prior to starting. Two references from direct supervisors or managers are required. First-time travelers are accepted for this position.
