Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing routine and complex care to patients, with the ability to make independent decisions and manage contingencies. Key Responsibilities: To provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. To address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their level of practice. To administer medications and treatments, monitor for side effects, and document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given. To assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers, identifying issues and resources. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred BLS certification required RN License in state of employment or compact Benefits: All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member and initial on-boarding requirements are validated through successful completion of the designated organizational entry competency validation and a Critical Care Department-specific competency validation. Completion of all annual competency verification requirements. Others: Current ACLS certification required Credential Grace Periods: Experienced Associates have up to 18 months to obtain required certifications, while new graduates have up to 90 days.
