Job Overview The House Nursing Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless patient placement and transfer processes throughout the hospital. This position collaborates closely with departments, Medical Staff, and Administration to optimize resource utilization and deliver high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate patient placement and transfer processes to minimize disruptions and ensure efficient hospital operations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes through coordinated care efforts. Develop and implement effective strategies to improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and reduce costs. Maintain accurate records and reports related to patient care and hospital operations to inform data-driven decision making. Required Skills and Qualifications: Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred. Minimum two years experience in acute care nursing practice with clinical and management experience. Current licensure as a registered nurse in North Carolina. American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification current upon acceptance of position. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Working Conditions: This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with frequent walking, standing, and lifting. Travel to other system facilities may be necessary. Physical demands include ability to lift 50 pounds and prolonged sitting or standing.
