About This Role This is a dynamic position that requires an experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care and support in our fast-paced clinical environment. As a skilled and competent nurse, you will demonstrate awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation and provide routine and complex care with a focus on long-term goals or plans. You will also develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing, making appropriate assignments and delegating to other care providers as needed. Key Responsibilities Meet expectations for applicable competencies: leader of self, leader of others, or leader of leaders. Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients, consistent with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice. Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their level of practice. Administer medications and treatments using the appropriate protocol, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed. Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given. Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identify issues and resources. Requirements Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred. 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred. BLS required. RN License in state of employment or compact.
