Must-Have: Previous charge experience, telemetry remote monitoring skills, experience in Med/Surg

Description: Med Surg nursing position available for night shifts. Option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Unit welcomes first-time travelers. Float will be required as needed. Weekends may be required. Patient diagnoses include stroke and surgical patients. Telemetry central monitoring tech available 24/7; interpreting dysrhythmias is not required. Required skills include telemetry monitoring, rapid response/code team usage, and colostomy management. Experience with feeding tube care, pre/post hemodialysis management, and renal failure is important. Knowledge of blood product administration, IV management, and wound care is necessary. Care for spinal cord injuries, total joint replacements, and chest tubes is expected. Isolation precautions and oxygen management are part of the role. Staffing includes interdisciplinary support from various services. Patients are primarily adults and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 30 patients. Unit consists of 39 beds.
