Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. The nurse will work in a Progressive Care Unit. The shift pattern is three 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5-6. Weekend shifts are required, specifically two shifts every other weekend. Candidates are expected to float within scope to meet facility needs. First-time travelers are accepted. Experience with EPIC charting system is necessary. Candidates must comply with vaccination requirements. The daily census in the unit averages around 27 patients. Patient age groups primarily consist of adults. Successful candidates must demonstrate proficiency in telemetry and cardiology-related procedures. Proper isolation precautions and personal protective equipment practices are essential. All references and certifications must be provided during the application process. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work in a collaborative environment.
