12-hour shifts (Days/Nights or rotating), self-scheduling with unit-based needs; weekends vary based on staffing requirements Highlights: Comprehensive Cancer Center with 318 acute care beds specializing in oncology care across multiple units Staffing ratios: PCU 1:3–1:4, Med Surg Telemetry 1:4–1:5 Epic charting system with robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams Floating opportunities across specialized oncology units including BMT, Acute Leukemia, Hematology, Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and more 100 hours of comprehensive orientation including bedside training Strong emphasis on infection prevention protocols and patient safety measures Requirements: Minimum 2 years of high acuity Med Surg Telemetry experience or higher required Oncology experience strongly preferred Previous travel nursing experience required Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission) Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required Epic EMR experience required Experience with patient ratios up to 1:5 Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a specialized comprehensive cancer center where you'll gain experience across multiple oncology specialties while caring for adult and geriatric patients.
